
ASUS has announced the release of a new cell phone ASUS V66, aimed primarily at young active users pay much attention to mobile multimedia entertainment.Phone Asus V66 released in 2006. It’s designed to work in networks GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900, and supports data transfer technology such as GPRS. Monoblock is equipped with a color display with a resolution of 128×160 pixels, displaying 262 thousand colors. Phone is equipped with 0.3-megapixel camera and produces images with a maximum resolution of 640×480. In Asus V66 32 MB of internal memory, supports memory card standard miniSD. The device is equipped with a Li-Ion battery 720 mAh, which allows continuous conversation lasting up to 5 hours. Among other features the phone can be noted support MP3-player and the ability to install JAVA-applications.

On the back of the phone is a lens built-in digital 0.3 megapixel camera. Also ASUS V66 supports WAP, GPRS and JAVA. It has a built-in MP3 player, FM radio receiver and 64-tone polyphony. Moreover, the phone is equipped with a card slot standard miniSD.
New mobile phone will be available in silver, blue and orange buildings, but so far no information about its estimated price.
